About the role:
Working within the People & Culture team, the Remuneration & Benefits Specialist plays an integral role in managing the remuneration and benefits strategy for an employee base of up to 500.
The role ensures that JCDecaux remains competitive in attracting and retaining talent, maintains compliance with regulatory requirements and aligns compensation with organizational performance goals.
A Day in the Life:
Whilst there’s no typical day in the dynamic world of media, you can expect your role to involve the following:
- Management of the remuneration framework, process and guidelines that inform how we make remuneration-based decisions across the business.
- Planning & leading the annual remuneration cycle, involving modelling and analysis to ensure alignment with company performance metrics, internal pay relativities, external market data
- Review, manage, and implement strategic, financially optimized, market competitive, sustainable total reward frameworks and solutions that supports our purpose, strategy, and values.
- Identify and propose effective and appropriate enhancements to existing performance and reward frameworks
- Supporting stakeholders to address a wide variety of remuneration-based requests including the establishment of performance linked to remuneration principals, bonus, sales and service incentive models.
- Maintaining competitive salary structures and frameworks involving external market benchmarking and salary surveys to ensure alignment with industry and local standards.
- Reviewing and managing the employee benefits and rewards programs (both monetary and non-monetary), including wellbeing initiatives. This includes regularly promoting and monitoring the uptake and perceived value of employee benefits on offer.
- Managing the employee Recognition Programs (including administration and calibration of quarterly and annual reviews).
- Evaluating and recommendation of new benefits offerings to enhance the Employee Value Proposition,
- Managing the Gender Equality reporting and analysis process including reporting as required to internal and external stakeholders including WGEA, ABS, Corporate stakeholders.
- Conducting a high-level analysis/review following the annual remuneration review cycle to determine the impact of companywide remuneration updates to our Gender Pay and Gender Equity Gaps.
About You:
You’ll have demonstrated experience within a Specialist Remuneration and Benefits role from either consultancy or client side. You’ll have a strategic mindset with a collaborative approach and a high-level understanding of different forms of remuneration and benefit approaches. As well as:
- Bachelor of Business, major in HR, Economics or Finance
- Knowledge of remuneration and benefit design, theory, methodology, best practice, industry trends, taxation, legislation and regulatory environment.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively within a high performing team.
- Strong stakeholder service mindset, able to present concepts and explain and influence strategic outcomes.
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, challenging benchmarking data and stakeholder benchmarking requests as required.
