The Opportunity

The Installation & Repairs Supervisor is a depot level leadership position within the Asset operations department. The role will see you managing a team of supervisors, team leaders and technicians responsible for all facets of the local infrastructure installation process and ensuring that repairs of infrastructure are completed on time, to the correct quality, and in accordance with JCDecaux’s productivity & WHS requirements.

 

Key Accountabilities Include (but not limited to):

  • Responsible for installation process, from on-site surveys, liaising with appropriate contractors, electrical connection of assets, ensure standards are met for quality control of infrastructure
  • Ensure that all staff are trained in the applications relevant to their roles
  • Ability to efficiently manage conflicts and issues within the work force
  • Ensure that all infrastructure is installed to the company’s quality & safety standards
  • Ensure that repairs are undertaken to quality and safety standards carrying out inspection & audits in line with company KPIs
  • Monitoring performance of the team to ensure contractual requirements are met
  • Ensure that all repair & installation operation costs are within estimate
  • Monitor overtime and roster works appropriately
  • Report & investigate any safety concerns, hazards or incidences within the agreed timelines
  • Review or implement relevant safety documentation such as SWMS &/or SWPs
  • Ensure that all works are risk assessed prior to commencement
  • Perform inspections and audits of sub-contractor worksites and documentation to ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements

 

To Be Successful:

You will have prior leadership experience, excellent time management skills and be used to working to deadlines. You will be safety driven and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. As well as:

  • Demonstrated experience in the supervision of multi-discipline operational personnel working within an urban environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in reading/ interpreting construction drawings and plans
  • Intermediate computer skills and sound knowledge in MS Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Civil works, excavation and reinstatement.
  • Working within a construction/ street furniture environment.
  • Dogging Ticket / experience
  • Ability to work unsociable hours as required
