THE OPPORTUNITY

The Digital Maintenance Technician (DMT) is an individual contributor position in the Operations department. Reporting to the supervisory group, they are responsible for in field servicing, posting and maintenance of digital & fixed advertising assets and structures, generally within a geographical area. This role is rostered, and some shifts would be carried out at night.

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Understand & follow all relevant SWMS & Procedures
  • Work in compliance with all Rail Authority requirements
  • Perform repairs to infrastructure safely in an efficient and coordinated manner
  • Carry out daily and weekly vehicle inspections
  • Report all major repairs or faults through the appropriate application that are found whilst cleaning, posting or maintaining infrastructure
  • Ensure internal cleaning and preventative maintenance of assigned digital assets are to the required schedule and quality specifications
  • Perform on-site diagnostics to aid in fault response for digital assets
  • Perform servicing activities on digital products such as LCD and LED screens
  • Ensure works are completed to required quality specifications
  • Change advertising posters within quality and time requirements / KPIs
  • Ensure that all digital assets within allocated route are online and showing visuals as per company specifications
  • From time to time, the employee will be required to undertake works outside of the general scope of duties listed above, so long that they have received the required training for the task

 

TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Drivers Licence
  • Technical competency
  • Rail Industry Worker card (or willingness to get)
  • LED / LCD / maintenance experience
  • Sound communication skills
  • Physically fit
  • Computer / Handheld Device Skills
  • White card
  • Working at Heights
  • Cert IV or equivalent in technology related field is desirable

 

From 4 April 2022, JCDecaux requires employees in Australia to be “up to date” with their vaccinations against Covid-19 to ensure we meet our obligations under occupational health and safety legislation with regard to the safety and wellbeing of our people. Being “up-to-date” generally means you have had a third vaccination dose not later than 6 months from completing your first two doses.
